I don't know if anyone out there still reads this, I get a few comments here and there. I know I've totally been slacking on this blog. I have so much to catch up on and It is so overwhelming that I just put it off completely! sad, I know :( For those of you who still read I could really use some opinions!
We have taken some huge leaps forward with Caden. Potty training and bedroom change in one week has gone over so smoothly! Now I'm ready to start working on the nursery! I can't wait to post all the fun projects I have going up in baby girl's new room. I am having an impossible time deciding what to do for bedding in the crib! help! I want to make a cute mini duvet cover for a little crib comforter I got. What to make!?! I am all decided on the bumper pads and crib skirt, even the pillows! I just can't seem to make up my mind on the duvet. I am in love with all of the following:
I love them all. Both of the Urban Outfitter Duvet covers are so dreamy. I love how simple the Layla Grace comforter is. It might be nice to have a simple duvet and more decorative pillows. And I just love the knotted rosette cover. See my dilemma? I can't choose. I could really use some opinions!
Which one do you like most?
The skirt will be white and lightly gathered and probably made of linen so it flows nicely. The crib sheets will be white. The bumper pads will be big and round, you know balloon bumper pads, in either teal or white. The pillows will all be different and girly: flowers, bows, ruffles.. you get the idea, In all different shades of teal.
and click HERE to see the nursery as it is now {minus all the cute little girly things I've added}
That should help in placing the duvet ;)

My initial reaction was either 2 or 4 because it's a girl and you should go out all girly. But I love love 1 as well because I've been in a grey mood lately. Man I have no idea. good luck choosing. They all are GORGEOUS and with you doing it, whatever you decide to do will turn out fantastic, I have no doubt. Sorry my opinion didn't help much. They are all gorgeous though!
ReplyDeletewell it totally depends on the bedding. i can't make a good suggestion not knowing what the rest of the room and bedding look like. i adore 1 but i love white it a girls rooms so 2 is a close second. i haven't made any decisions on our co-habitant nursery yet so you are miles in front of me! way to go!
ReplyDeleteugh. i wrote this long comment and it got deleted. biggest fail of the day.
ReplyDeletei love #1.
but love the color on #4.
So, I don't even know if you remember me back years ago in the physics department, but I stumbled on your blog not too long ago and love it. I love the teal theme idea and pretty much all of those duvets. So pretty much my opinion is completely useless in this matter.
ReplyDeleteI'll probably comment from time to time, and I hope that's not creepy.

That pink frilly duvet is SO PERFECT!!! I just really really love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the corner ruffle one. I saw it the other day and was thinking about making that for me! But I am not sure how it would look being in or hanging from a crib... so my vote is for number one. Beautiful!
ReplyDeletei love the last ruffle one. it's sooo girly.
ReplyDeletei love that bow pillow too! I need to make sophias
quilt/blanket for her bed too..it's taken me this long
to even start. so seriously you're awesome for getting this
all done now!
I love number 4! Second pick would be 2 but I'm big into ruffles! If you are going to have some bow pillows and other stuff then having a knotted duvet may be too much poof so I would get rid of the first one even though it's really pretty.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
totally the rosette one. love love love it
ReplyDeleteIf you are having lots of fun girly pillows, I would go with a simplier duvet cover #3. I am also more pratcical and think of washing it. I do know whatever you choose it will be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE #2....so timeless.
ReplyDeleteI was deep in blogland and found your blog..I love love love it!!!
Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy!!

How do you remotely make up your mind??? They are all GORGEOUS!!! Ok, I'm going to scroll up and pretend I can afford this stuff.
ReplyDeleteLove #1 and then #2. You are so talented and it makes me a tinsey jealous! Your little baby bump is so cute and I'm glad your potty training transition was pretty smooth. I'm still trying to decide whether or not to keep going, or to hold off. Love you girl!
